Making pizza - Working on backing up my shit talk
I have high standards when it comes to pizza. I'm easily turned off. But I make a couple pies a week so I can at least sort of back up the massive amount of shit talking I do on this blog. Almost 2 years of making pizza and I'm still learning stuff everyday. Making a good pie is an incredibly difficult balancing act of time, temperature and controlling yeast. I'm far from a professional but just wanted some proof on the blog that I'm not all talk!
This afternoon Carrie, her brother and I went to their dads place for an afternoon of pizza making. This is a pie I came up with based off of one on the Pizzaiolo menu. Olive oil, garlic, artichoke hearts, grated zucchini, feta and a sprinkle of panko. Dave Hayden planned and prepped toppings for a Spanish pie with romesco sauce, manchego cheese and chorizo sausage as well as a pulled pork and onion pie. Both were awesome! Thanks to Dave and Marilyn for having me over to make a handful of pies for everyone! You can check out their blog here.

ReplyDeleteAnyone would love it.....
get these ingredients ready
1/2 cup butter chicken sauce
1/3 cup yogurt
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1 boneless skinless chicken breast
thin pizza crust
1 cup pizza cheese shredded
1/2 cup spinach
1/4 cup sliced red onion
24 cherry tomato cut in half
Its very easy to prepare, follow these simple procedure I found at www.freshslice.com/feast-pizza-menu/. Get your oven preheated to 425°F (220°C). Then mix 3tbsp of yogurt and chicken pieces and heat over medium heat. Wait till the marinated chicken pieces turn pink in color, spread it over pizza crust and sprinkle cheese. Get your pizza layered with spinach, tomato, onion and cooked chicken. One final step , bake directly on the oven rack for 12 to 15 min
