The Chain Gang: Fresh Slice

If you’re in a rush let me summarize and you can leave after my next sentence.  Fresh Slice is terrible.  I’m not even going to go into detail with this one.  Went to the location at College and Grace today.  Out for a walk with the pup and wanted a quick slice.  We were drawn in by the prices ($1.60 per slice or 3 slices + drink for $5 no tax).  Again, not even going to bother going into too much detail.  Crap toppings, awful sauce, the dough was pitiful.  Zero gluten development.  The thing barely rose, there was no gluten structure inside, zero chew.  Like… zero.  The thing just falls apart in your mouth in the most unappealing way.  Just abysmal in every way.  If your shitfaced and at College and Grace and you just spent your paycheck on drinks I’d say hit it up.  But at $1.60 you’re getting what you pay for.  I have a hard time saying any pizza is terrible but I didn’t even finish my slices.  Ugh.
